Orders

Please note that all William Llewellyn Griffiths jewellery pieces are handmade in our Melbourne studio. For our online range unless otherwise stated we endeavor to dispatched all pieces in 2-3 days. In some instances however due to a high level of demand or a bespoke request it can take up to two weeks to have your order completed. If you need your piece/s urgently please let us know and we will fast track your request.

Correspondence

Online orders placed through the William Llewellyn Griffiths website will be sent a confirmation email followed by shipping information and a tracking.

Jewellery Care

Jewellery looked after well will last you a lifetime. Store your William Llewellyn Griffiths jewellery in it’s box when not in use away from knocks, children, chemicals, extreme temperatures & sunlight.  Store your pieces individually and in the box supplied to avoid pieces scratching one another.

Avoid wearing jewellery in the swimming pool, or while bathing or showering. Chemicals such as chlorine, detergents, oils & perfumes can cause tarnishing to the metals and stones.

Remove jewellery when doing household tasks, and be aware of avoiding placing excess strain on necklaces, chains or bracelets.

Make-up, perfume & hairspray all contain chemicals which may tarnish jewellery. So jewellery should be put on after using these products. Likewise remove jewellery before getting changed to avoid catching it and damaging the jewellery or clothes.

Wipe jewellery clean with a soft cloth after each wear to remove make up & oils (from skin). Jewellery can be cleaned gently with a soft tooth brush and dish washing liquid with warm water.

Many William Llewellyn Griffiths pieces have an oxidized finish. This can wear off with time due to environmental factors or the PH level of the owners skin. Please contact us if you would like your jewellery re-oxidized.

Shipping & Handling for Australian Orders

Insurance is available for a flat rate of $25. A signature upon delivery is required. Estimated delivery time is 3-5 business days from date of shipping. Tracking is available through Australia Post (Call 13 13 18) or click here for more information. Please note that Items valued above $5000 will require an alternate shipping method, which will be confirmed with the purchaser via telephone and/or email. If you require your item faster, courier services are available, please contact us for DHL or FEDEX rates and delivery time frames to your location.

An Express Post Courier International shipping service is available for $75. Tracking is available through Australia Post (Call 13 13 18) or click here for more information. Signature is required upon delivery and the estimated delivery time is 2-5 business days from date of shipping. If you require your item faster, courier services are available, please contact us for DHL or FEDEX rates and delivery time frames to your location.

Customs Fees & Import Restrictions

Some countries place restrictions on goods imported or charge customs duties or import fees. It is the responsibility of the customer to research these fees and/or restrictions that are applicable and pay the incurred charges. We send all parcels through Australia Post and suggest that you check your country in the first instance at www.auspost.com.au. We also recommend contacting your local government body prior to ordering. e.g. customs & excise.

Missing Parcels

If your parcel hasn’t arrived at it’s destination in the time frame expected, please call Australia Post on 13 13 18 and quote the tracking number from your shipping confirmation email. Alternatively, you can check online here.  We also recommend visiting your local Post Office or Mail Centre to see if they are holding it for you.

Insurance Claims

UNDELIVERED PARCELS: All insurance claims are between William L. Griffiths and Australia Post. We will arrange for the insurance payment to be paid to you or we will replace your order if it is still available.

DELIVERED PARCELS: Insurance claims are between the customer and Australia Post. If you need to make a claim and need assistance in this process, please contact us.

Returns

Shipping costs are non-refundable on returns.

Deposit

William Llewellyn Griffiths.require a 40% deposit on all Lay-by purchases. Payment can be made via PayPal. The Item will be held in the store until full payment is made.

Time frame

It is requested that fortnightly payments be made unless otherwise agreed. The balance of your lay-by is due after 8 weeks. If unforeseen circumstances mean you are not able to pay off your lay-by by the due date extensions can be made on request.

Cancellations

No refund will be given if you wish to cancel your lay-by agreement with William Llewellyn Griffiths. Funds will be transferred to store credit.

Returns Policy

William Llewellyn Griffiths online store accepts returns / exchanges on unworn jewellery, in original condition and packaging, within 21 days of the date of delivery.

Returns and exchanges will not be processed until jewellery has been returned and deemed to be in it’s original condition.

Cancellation of Orders

In the event that you wish to cancel a William Llewellyn Griffiths online order please notify us within 24 hours, so that a refund can be processed before production has commenced.

Repairs

William Llewellyn Griffiths online store is committed to a very high level of quality in our work. all pieces are carefully inspected and packaged prior to being shipped.

In the unlikely event that the item you receive has been damaged in transit or is faulty, then please contact us immediately so that we can rectify the problem.

In the unlikely event that the item you receive is faulty as a result of craftsmanship then please contact us immediately to arrange a replacement or a repair.

Jewellery that incurs damage and/or defects through fair wear and tear, reckless use or that which is considered unreasonable or inconsistent with William Llewellyn Griffiths’s care instructions, is not covered by this guarantee.

Find your perfect fit

There are several different ring-sizing systems in use worldwide. Please contact us with your name and address if you are unsure of your size and we will send you a ring sizing gauge.

Choose which finger it is that you would like to wear the ring on and measure your size a few times to ensure you are getting a correct measurement.

Fingers swell at different times of the day and in different temperatures. It is for this reason that it is advised to measure your size at the end of the day when your fingers are warm and slightly swollen.

If your knuckle is much larger than your finger’s base, it is a good idea to take two separate measurements and choose a size in between. This is to ensure that the ring fits over the knuckle, but isn’t too loose.
